June McCahon
Principal Dentist
LDS RCS 1975. GDC : 48629 Originally from beautiful Northern Ireland, June came to Birmingham Dental Hospital to study dentistry. She started her professional career in Braintree. After two years, she bought her own practice in Maldon Road, Witham. After many years there, she sold that practice and returned to Braintree to build a brand new, purpose-designed dental practice meeting all the latest technical and legal standards. Outside of work, June is married with two grown-up sons and a Maine Coon cat.

MFDS RCS Eng 2005, BDS (London 2002). GDC : 81184 Jai was born and grew up in sunny Kenya. He came to England to study dentistry at London University in 1998. He is particularly interested in dental implants - the new way to replace missing teeth permanently. He is currently studying for his Masters Degree in Implantology at Bristol University on a part-time basis which requires him to take a few days a month away from the practice. Jai is married and enjoys travel.

Dip Dent Therapist (London 2005), Dip Dent Hygiene (London 2005). GDC: 6751 Originally from Derbyshire, Kirsty qualified as a Dental Therapist and Hygienist at London University. As a Therapist, Kirsty can do some treatments (eg basic fillings) that you might have expected only the dentist to do for you. Kirsty also does routine scaling and polishing as well as fissure sealing on younger patients to protect their teeth. Kirsty is married and lives with her husband and Maggie the cavalier spaniel and Sidney the cat.

Chris worked with June McCahon as a dental nurse for several years before taking two years off to go back to college in Liverpool full-time and qualify as a Dental Hygienist. Chris looks after our patient's dental health with periodontal treatments to keep their gums in good condition. Christine is married and has a young daughter.
