Implants
Implants can be used to permanently replace missing teeth. First, an opening is carefully prepared in the jaw bone. An implant is fitted into this opening, and a healing cap inserted. A few months are allowed for the implant to integrate with the bone. When the implant has integrated, the healing cap is exposed and an abutment inserted. A crown is then fitted to the abutment.
