Flossing
Forty percent of your tooth surface is inaccessible to your tooth brush. This is the space between the teeth where food debris can accumulate. If not removed, bacteria will develop and plaque will form. This can lead to bad breath and tooth decay.
Floss should be used regularly to clean between the teeth. Use a short piece of floss with a gentle back and forth motion and with a vertical action until all the plaque is removed. Work the floss gently under the gum to remove hidden deposits. We also recommend you see a Hygienist regularly to keep your gums in tip-top condition.
